zero users! is operated by Flared Inc., registered at 2093 Philadelphia Pike #2010, Claymont, DE 19703.

The short version

• You pay, you get access to the Discord community
• You can cancel anytime and you won't be charged again
• I collect your email and some info about you to run this thing
• I won't sell your data to anyone
• If you break the community guidelines, you're out
• I can refund you and remove you at my discretion

Payments & subscriptions

Payments are processed by Polar. When you subscribe, you're agreeing to their terms of service. Your payment info is handled entirely by them - I never see your card number.

You can cancel anytime through Polar. When you cancel, you'll keep access until the end of your billing period, then you'll be removed from the Discord.

If you want a refund, just email me. I'm not going to make it weird.

What I collect

• Your email address (to send you call invites and occasional updates)
• Your name (if you provide it)
• What you tell me at checkout (your day job, what you want to build, how you found us)
• Whatever you post in Discord (which is stored by Discord, not me)

What I do with it

• Send you emails about calls and community stuff
• Understand who's joining and why
• That's it

What I don't do with it

• Sell it
• Share it with third parties for marketing
• Anything weird

Third party services

zero users! uses:

• Polar for payments and subscriptions
• Discord for the community
• Google Meet for calls

Each of these has their own privacy policy and terms. By using zero users!, you're also agreeing to theirs.

Community guidelines

Be kind. No racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or any other flavor of bigotry. No being rude or mean to people. Zero tolerance.

No pitching. Don't promote your work projects, your startup, your newsletter, your course. This is a space to get away from all that.

No unsolicited feedback. If someone shares a project, don't critique it unless they ask.

Keep work at work. Talk about your job if you want, but don't share work projects here.

If you break these rules, you're out. No warnings, no drama, just a refund and a removal.

Removal & refunds

I reserve the right to remove anyone from the community and issue a refund at my discretion. This includes but isn't limited to violations of the community guidelines.

Changes

I might update this page. If I make significant changes, I'll let you know via email or in Discord.
